Residing in Martha Cove Marina Village on the Mornington Peninsula, The Wheelhouse is a collection of artfully crafted residences by Fender Katsalidis and Carr. Poised on the waterfront in the village’s most desired position, the design draws inspiration from its seaside location to form habitats of timeless quality, natural beauty and modern convenience. With rugged coastal cliffs at your fingertips and world-class amenity on your doorstep, relish a life of effortless delight, in a home of pure distinction.

Envisioned by Karl Fender, master of architecture.

Founded on the philosophy of innovation through collaboration, Fender Katsalidis has evolved from a Melbourne-centric architectural practice, to a highly awarded, multi-disciplinary international design firm whose work now influences built environment thinking across the globe. Committed to design that is a force for meaningful, positive change, today, the practice is the name behind some of the world’s most significant and progressive built environments.

When the design team for The Wheelhouse was being assembled, co-founder Karl Fender was the obvious choice for architect. In addition to being Martha Cove’s ‘town architect’, having already designed The Moorings, his hands-on, collaborative and meticulous approach to residential design ensured the result would be exemplary on all fronts.

“A home should be a sanctuary, a place of shelter. Whenever designing a home, we consider how natural light and access to views can create a place to live that feels protected yet connected to the outside world. The Wheelhouse takes advantage of its unique site to create a series of homes that embrace its seaside location.”
